This exercise strengthens Quads, Glutes, Cardio, but fat loss happens holistically across your entire body through consistent training and nutrition. You cannot target fat loss in specific areas. How to Do It

  1. 1Start in lunge position - right leg forward, left leg back
  2. 2Both knees at 90 degrees
  3. 3Explosively jump up, switching legs in mid-air
  4. 4Land softly in lunge with left leg forward, right leg back
  5. 5Immediately jump again, switching legs
  6. 6Use arms to help generate momentum
  7. 7Land with soft knees
  8. 8Maintain upright torso throughout

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Landing with straight legs - always land with bent knees
Not switching legs fully in air
Leaning too far forward
Landing too heavily - focus on soft landings
Not going into full lunge between jumps

Make It Easier

  • Alternating reverse lunges
  • Split squat jumps (same leg)
  • Step back lunges

Make It Harder

  • Increase tempo
  • Hold position longer between jumps
  • Add arm movements
