Important: You Can't "Spot Reduce" Fat

This exercise strengthens Shoulders, Upper Back, but fat loss happens holistically across your entire body through consistent training and nutrition. You cannot target fat loss in specific areas. The key is full-body balanced training combined with a sustainable calorie deficit. This is how your body naturally reduces fat over time.

How to Do It

  1. 1Start in downward dog facing away from wall
  2. 2Walk feet up the wall one at a time
  3. 3Walk hands closer to wall as feet climb
  4. 4Aim to get body as vertical as comfortable
  5. 5Keep core extremely tight
  6. 6Spread fingers wide, press through palms
  7. 7Hold for time, breathing steadily
  8. 8Walk feet down when finished

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Arching lower back excessively - engage core
Not pressing shoulders away from floor
Holding breath - breathe throughout
Going fully vertical too soon - build gradually

Make It Easier

  • Feet lower on wall (less inverted)
  • Pike push-up
  • Wall walk partial

Make It Harder

  • Chest-to-wall handstand
  • Handstand push-up
  • Freestanding handstand
